Cuba congratulates Belarus on National Holiday

Havana, Jul 3 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's Foreign Ministry (MINREX) on Wednesday congratulated Belarus on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of that nation from Nazi invaders.

We congratulate the people and Government of the Republic of Belarus on its National Holiday, the MINREX expressed in a message released on its X and Facebook profiles.

The text added that Cuba reiterates its willingness to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) Minister Alvaro Lopez Miera is heading his country’s delegation to Minsk, the capital of Belarus, to attend the celebrations’ events and military parade.

More than 5,000 servicemen and more than 300 vehicles are expected to participate in the parade, in addition to Russia’s aviation in the aerial part of the show.

In addition to the Belarusian military personnel, representatives of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will attend the parade.
