After expressing gratitude for the visit, Xi said that he felt the country’s momentum was growing and that he was confidence that under President Tokayev’s leadership, the people of Kazakhstan will succeed in building a prosperous and strong new nation.

The friendly relations between China and Kazakhstan are rooted in the millennia-old Silk Road, and with more than 32 years of cooperation are strengthened after the establishment of diplomatic relations and the high level of a permanent comprehensive strategic partnership.

President Xi noted that China will remain steadfast in its commitment and determination to boost cooperation in all fields, in the willingness to support each other on issues related to core interests, and confidence that both countries will achieve their development goals.

He also expressed his readiness to work with Tokayev to build a more substantive and dynamic China-Kazakhstan community jointly with a shared future and inject more positive energy into the region’s development and stability.
