Venezuela rejects Argentine claim disavowing coup d’état in Bolivia

Caracas, Jul 1 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela categorically rejected today what it called a repugnant communiqué issued by Argentine President Javier Milei on June 30, in which he pretends to disavow the attempted coup d'état in Bolivia.

A statement from the Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Ministry indicated that this feeds ‘a narrative created by the Latin American right wing, which tries to wash the face of the criminals who tried to overthrow the legitimate president Luis Arce’.

In reference to Milei, the note affirmed that ‘this obscure character, of neo-Nazi style’, is used as a pawn of macabre interests, which try to impose fascism as a political trend in our region.

He pointed out that this is done through the ‘ridiculous voice inflated by lies’ that is spread through social networks and the complicit media.

Venezuela reiterated the call to condemn this and any other coup attempt in our Latin America, as was done unanimously by South American countries, including Argentina itself, a fact that, unfortunately, is unknown by whoever claims to rule that country.

Last week, military forces disloyal to the Arce Government promoted a coup d’état and attempted to take over the Presidential Palace in La Paz, which was rejected by the vast majority of the world community.
