The urban battle lasted several hours in the town of Gressier, a commune in the western department of Haiti, 27.3 kilometers from the capital, but so far the authorities have not provided an estimate of the number of victims in the confrontation.

Le Facteur Haiti online newspaper reported that the criminal gang surrounded the police station, which was occupied in May, and then recovered by a SWAT TEAM commando, which now had to flee for their lives.

As usual, the gang members set fire to a car belonging to the institution, recorded a video and posted it on social networks on Sunday.

In the images they can be seen celebrating their victory and defying the high command of the Haitian National Police, and Kenyan troops were called invaders by the criminals.
