A Ukrainian drone struck a residential house in the village of Gorodische, Rylsk district, where two people were seriously injured, Smirnov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Those injured were taken to the Rylsk district hospital in serious condition, where they are being treated. I express my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims, the official added.

Earlier, the acting governor had declared that anti-aircraft forces had eliminated and neutralized nine Ukrainian drones.

The Russian Defense Ministry informed that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed six unmanned aerial vehicles over the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, and Tver, and the Republic of Crimea on Saturday.
