Marrero sent a hug to the members of this non-governmental association, which is part of the International Bartenders Association that belongs to the Ministry of Tourism and is sponsored by the Cuban rum Havana Club.

According to historical notes, the ACC stems from a century ago in the country’s capital, with the creation of the Association of Bar Professionals, who in turn founded the Club Cuban Bartenders, which aimed at grouping, forming, and training the exponents of the guild, with rights and duties.

The Cuban Association is the oldest of its kind worldwide and currently groups over 1,500 specialists, 30% of whom are women, according to the organizers of the celebrations.
