Since Thursday night, the country has registered rains that may increase this Friday until Sunday, maybe later on, depending on the approach of the Intertropical Convergence Zone and the area of low pressure.

Authorities are observing two tropical waves, including one in the Honduran Caribbean.

The forecasts were met, so far, with temporary rainfalls during the early hours of Friday morning, while the dawn in this capital was marked by drizzle, anticipating heavier rainfall.

“In the morning there is a probability of weak rains in the surroundings of mountainous areas; during the afternoon, rains will occur over the volcanic mountain range and in northern sectors”, a MARN report warned the day before.
