Martha Lucia Martinez, representing Trinidad and Tobago; Oleibis Estrada, director of Development; and Coralis Rodriguez, director of Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and International Cooperation, representing Santiago de Cuba, participated in the meetings.
Martha Lucia Martinez told Prensa Latina that Trinidad and Tobago’s industry and manufacturing, especially for the eastern provinces, with a preference for the food and beverage sectors, besides packaging, is being promoted at ExpoCaribe 2024.
She added that one of the most advanced projects with Santiago de Cuba is the line of raw materials and recycled products, from which results and the shipment of those items from the eastern Cuban province to the Caribbean market are expected.
Oleibis Estrada told Prensa Latina that the Santiago de Cuba Development Directorate’s stand at ExpoCaribe 2024 to seek opportunities for state and non-state economic stakeholders to increase commercial traffic through the local port and promote foreign investment to finance development projects.
