After touring the various exhibition halls, Minister of Industry Abdel Qader Joukhadar said that the event represents an opportunity for participants to promote their products and update themselves with the latest technologies in food manufacturing.

While the Minister of Agriculture, Hassan Qattana, highlighted the increase in the number of industrialists participating in this new edition and revealed that the increase in agricultural production in the country demand an expansion of food industries.

The governor of Damascus City, Mohamed Tariq Krishati, explained that the fair is an important promotional platform for agricultural industrial products and an important opportunity to tell people about the latest developments in Syrian industry despite the unjust blockade.

The magnitude of the national participation shows the great capabilities of the food manufacturing, packaging and marketing sector, said the head of the Syrian Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Abu Al-Huda Al-Lahham.
