Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid denied a telephone conversation between Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Reports of a conversation “about arrangements to register lists of patients and students wishing to leave the Gaza Strip are completely unfounded in both form and substance,” Abu Zeid affirmed.

No such conversation took place, and no such arrangements exist, the spokesperson stressed, amid Cairo’s criticism of its neighboring nation for its aggression against Gaza.
