The Ministry informed on its Facebook profile that the event will be held at the Havana-based Conference Center under the theme “Legal Security, a challenge of the contemporary world.”

The debate will focus on registry law, legal advice, the creation of regulations, legal culture, notarial law, and the computerization of the sector and its services.

In the registry law, the works will be focused on the principles of organization, functioning, and efficiency of public registries, the right to identity, and civil registration, besides the experiences and challenges related to the computerization process of these public registries.

Participants will also discuss the importance of property registration in territorial and urban planning, the property registration systems in today’s world, and the registry integration processes.

The event will be sponsored by the National Association of Cuban Lawyers (UNJC), the Association of Cuban Notaries, the Law Faculty of the University of Havana, the Corporate Group Legal Services S.A., the National Lawyers Guild, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Convocan a IV Congreso internacional JURISCUBA 2024 en Cuba

La Habana, 25 jun (Prensa Latina) El Ministerio de Justicia (Minjus) de Cuba convoca hoy a profesionales e investigadores del derecho a participar en el IV Congreso Internacional JURISCUBA 2024, a efectuarse del 15 al 17 de octubre en esta capital.

De acuerdo con una publicación del Minjus en la red social Facebook, la cita se desarrollará bajo el lema “La seguridad jurídica, un reto del mundo contemporáneo”, en el capitalino Palacio de las Convenciones.

Como eje primordial del debate resaltan: el derecho registral, el asesoramiento jurídico y la creación normativa, la cultura jurídica, el derecho notarial y la informatización del sector y sus servicios.

Con relación al derecho registral los trabajos estarán dirigidos hacia los principios de organización, funcionamiento y eficacia de los registros públicos, el derecho a la identidad y el registro civil; así como las experiencias y los desafíos que implica el proceso de informatización en estos registros públicos.

Además los participantes dialogarán sobre la importancia del registro de la propiedad en el ordenamiento territorial y urbano; los sistemas de derecho registral inmobiliario del mundo actual y los procesos de integración registral.

El evento está auspiciado por la Unión Nacional de Juristas de Cuba, la Sociedad del Notariado cubano, la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de la Habana, el Grupo Societario Servicios Legales S.A., la Organización Nacional de Bufetes Colectivos y el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia.
