The military institution stated that the helicopters’ pilots were trained in detecting enemy submarines by sonar and radar, and the crews of long-range aircraft were trained in essential search missions.

Ilyushin IL-38N and Tupolev Tu-142 anti-submarine warfare aircraft took part in the maneuvers.

From June 18 to 28, Russian naval units commanded by Admiral Viktor Liina, commander of the Pacific Fleet, are conducting tactical exercises in the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the Kuril Island Arch.
