We must demand Washington, and all those involved in decision-making, to be held accountable “as a major partner in the perpetration of crimes against the Palestinians” in that coastal enclave, the non-governmental organization said in a statement.

The institution also renewed its appeal to the international community to assume its responsibilities and impose effective sanctions on Israel, including the immediate interruption of arms transfers.

It denounced that for the past nine months, the Israeli army has been using disproportionate destructive methods in Gaza.

It also criticized the killing of civilians and the attacks on supposedly safe areas.

As an example, it cited the bombardments in the last two days against several densely populated areas in that territory, including the northern city of Gaza, which caused dozens of deaths and injuries.
