According to a promotional press release from the Mexican embassy in Cuba, four screenings will be presented of an equal number of short and feature films in this genre, which has become increasingly popular in recent times.

The selection for the cycle was made by journalist and critic Nicolas Ruiz Berruecos, who will be in Havana from June 26-29 to present the show and will also be available for interviews during the activities.

This initiative is a collaboration between the Mexican Embassy, the Mexican Institute of Cinematography, the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry and the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana.
