Rains, winds and high waves in Mexico due to tropical system

According to the source, the system was located around 6:15 local time at 335 kilometers east-northeast of Cabo Rojo, in the state of Veracruz, and 365 kilometers east of the port of Altamira, in Tamaulipas, it was moving west-northwest at 13 kilometers (km/h).

The SMN specified in a warning issued this morning that the maximum sustained winds of the phenomenon, with a minimum central pressure of 997 hpa, amounted to 65 km/h and had gusts of up to 85.

Experts forecast heavy rains (150 to 250 mm) in the regions of Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Hidalgo, Puebla and Veracruz, and heavy rains (75 to 150 mm) in Zacatecas, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche and Quintana Roo.

According to the text, rainfall will be very heavy (50 to 75 mm) in the states of Guanajuato, Tlaxcala and Yucatan, and heavy (25 to 50 mm) in Aguascalientes and Durango.
