In a note sent to Prensa Latina’s correspondent office in Panama, it acknowledges the constant effort of its professionals, whose work and commitment to truthfulness have earned it recognition, not only as a significant news agency but also as a media outlet that informs punctually, and also knows how to guide its users.
Signed by Erich Auerbach, Information and Public Relations director at Panama’s Foreign Ministry, the text also highlights the work of those who have been witnesses of history and who, again and again, have contributed to continuing to unite two brotherly nations.
After expressing gratitude for promoting several activities of local diplomacy and solidarity with the stances assumed by this country, the message wishes PL workers new victories. Founded on June 16, 1959, Prensa Latina is currently the main multimedia outlet in Cuba, with a daily news service of some 400 stories in seven languages, and it is one of Cuba’s most consulted portals on the Internet.
