The FUT leader Jose Villavicencio told at a press conference that the mobilization will be at national level in order to urge the government to reverse its decision to end subsidies and raise Extra and Ecopaís petrol prices imposed from the last week of June.
The 4th of July will be a big national day, but it will not be the only one. Protests against the government’s neoliberal policies will continue,’ said Villavicencio.
He indicated the FUT has recently met with representatives of other social organizations to join demonstration against the ‘economic package’, including the indigenous movement.
