Foreign Minister of India and US National Security Advisor hold talks

New Delhi, Jun 17 (Prensa Latina) The Foreign Minister of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, spoke with the United States National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, on a wide range of bilateral, regional, and global issues.

The Indian minister on website X, confirmed the meeting in which he described the debates between both authorities as comprehensive.

Jaishankar also expressed his confidence in the progress of the strategic partnership between India and the United States during the new term of the National Democratic Alliance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the helm.

According to sources close to the Foreign Ministry, Sullivan, who traveled to India after participating in the so-called Peace Summit on Ukraine that met in Switzerland, is in New Delhi for the second meeting on Critical and Emerging Technologies initiatives.

Jake Sullivan, who traveled to India accompanied by Undersecretary of State Kurt Campbell and other senior functionaries, is expected to meet with Modi.

According to local media, Sullivan will also hold a meeting with his Indian counterpart, Ajit Doval, in an expected analysis of Israel’s war against the Palestinians. Washington supports Israel militarily and with monetary resources.

Subsequently, both officials will provide a joint statement highlighting the progress made and the importance of the mechanism on Critical and Emerging Technologies for the two countries, the reports indicate.
