Choquehuanca expressed his solidarity with the vice president’s family and called for peace in Colombia.
On Sunday, in a message on the same platform, the Colombian vice president said that “it hurts my heart, that just on this day, my father has been attacked.”
She noted that her father, her six-year-old nephew and two bodyguards “were attacked on the Suarez-Cali road, fortunately they were unharmed and are fine.”
Márquez expressed concern about security in Valle del Cauca, in the municipality of Suárez and the village of La Toma, as well as for her community and her family.
