China committed to expand its market

Beijing, Jun 15 (Prensa Latina) China’s Prime Minister Li Qiang assured on his official visit to New Zealand on Saturday that his country is committed to resolutely expanding a high-level opening-up market.

China will continue to create a first-class business environment and support foreign enterprises to achieve better and further breakthrough, the PM asserted during a visit to the headquarters of the New Zealand dairy Fonterra Company, alongside his counterpart Christopher Luxon.

Li noted that for over 40 years, Fonterra has been continuously operating and expanding its business in China, which is a living example of the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

The PM ensured there is huge potential for collaboration between the two countries in areas, such as green development, and urged New Zealand companies to seize such opportunities.

Li and Luxon further toured New Zealand’s agricultural technology exhibition on Saturday, where the visitor highlighted agriculture has always been an active area of economic and trade cooperation between the two nations.

The PM expressed his hope that the two sides will implement the strategic plan signed a year ago to improve the level of bilateral cooperation in this sector, actively develop trade in agricultural products and strengthen exchanges in agricultural technology.

Li Qiang arrived on Thursday in Wellington to start a tour that will last until June 20, so he will pay visits to Australia and Malaysia.
