Experts noted that the German Government has doubts and wants amendments in relation to the new measures against the Russian Federation, which is the main reason why there is still no consensus.

Germany is above all concerned about the first component of the future sanctions package, European diplomats told the new agency.

Berlin demands to exclude the new measures completely from the sanctions, the objective of which is to prosecute foreign branches of companies for violation of the restrictions regime or to limit its effect only to companies that produce certain goods.
