Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez stated on X that while this US policy persists, the Israeli army has so far killed more than 37,200 Palestinians.

He pointed out that those who survive the indiscriminate bombings ordered by Israeli authorities, mainly children, are victims of conditions close to starvation and malnutrition.

The Cuban foreign minister recently condemned the criminal attack by Israeli forces on the displaced people’s camp in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, which left numerous Palestinian victims.

Rodriguez systematically denounces Israel’s massacre, and nearly 70 percent of dead people are women and children, he noted.

In a previous tweet, the head of Cuban diplomacy pointed out that 90 percent of the Palestinians live below the poverty line, along with 37 million tons of rubble resulting from the bombings.

The Cuban Government maintains a position of absolute rejection of the excessive military campaign undertaken by the Israel Defense Forces in response to an armed incursion into its territory by Hamas on October 7, 2023.
