Written and directed by Lizette Vila, Sergio Cabrera and Ingrid Leon, the film explores the life stories of 10 Cuban women of diverse religious expressions, in their private and public spheres, as well as their potential participation in the country’s plural debate.
The screening will be followed by a debate with prestigious experts in the academic field, including Ana Teresa Badía, Ph.D., full professor at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Havana, and Geydis Elena Fundora, full professor at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences of the same institution.
Doctor in Science Yuri Pérez, full professor of the Faculty of Law of the aforementioned institution and president of the Cuban Society of Constitutional and Administrative Law of the National Union of Jurists of Cuba, will also participate in the meeting.
This cinematographic work is a contribution to the National Program for the Advancement of Women and the new Family Code, concludes the note released by Icaic.
