On his X profile, the Cuban head of State expressed the emotions he experienced recently while interacting with the group’s members who “walked around Cuba and talked with the Cuban people.”
Diaz-Canel said in his podcast From the Presidency, to be published this week, that the public could learn about these experiences told by those young people.
The president described as “admirable” the US youths who, according to him, are making a revolution “in the entrails of the monster” (life in the United States).
In another tweet, Diaz-Canel appeared in a photo among 100 US youths and with a message in which he expressed, “Palestine hurts, and it must hurt us every day that we do not do something for it. This is where the world’s struggle for justice and dignity is defined today.”
The Cuban president warned that “the weight of history will fall on those who insist on remaining indifferent to the massacre perpetrated by the Israeli army on the Palestinian territories.”
In this regard, Diaz-Canel affirmed that Cuba will continue to be on the side of the nonconformists.
