The Foreign Minister, who held a meeting in the Russian city of Nizhni Novgorod with his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez, during the meeting of Brics foreign ministers, also ratified his unconditional support to the Caribbean nation, according to BelTA news agency.
During the meeting between Aleynik and Rodriguez, both stressed the friendly nature of Belarus-Cuba relations and underlined the unacceptability of sanctions and illegal measures of pressure.
The two heads of diplomacy also discussed cooperation projects in the sectors of agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals and the 11th meeting of the Belarusian-Cuban joint commission on trade and economic cooperation to be held in Minsk today.
