Arango explained that the epicenter was located at 19.95 degrees north latitude and 75.83 degrees west longitude, at a depth of 25.5 km, 7 km south of Santiago de Cuba.
The specialist also informed that there were perceptibility reports in Santiago de Cuba, Guantanamo, Granma, and Holguin provinces, and no casualties or material damage were registered.
This is the ninth perceptible seism of the current year.
