Levy highlighted on X social media that the inauguration of three China-donated solar parks ratifies that the path is to advance towards energy sovereignty.
These facilities, donated by the Chinese Agency for International Cooperation and Development, are located in the provinces of Villa Clara, Ciego de Avila and Holguin.
Together, these three parks generate 12 megawatts of energy and are synchronized to the National Power Grid.
The facilities mark the beginning of an investment offensive aimed at adding 1,000 megawatts to Cuba’s energy grid, while seeking to reduce fuel consumption in electricity generation.
