Czech Republic has no intention to send military advisors to Ukraine

Prague, Jun 8 (Prensa Latina) The Czech Republic has no intention to send its military advisors to Ukraine to train its armed forces, the Ministry of Defense informed today, quoted here by the local press.

The Czech Republic plans to continue training Ukrainian soldiers on Czech soil, as it has been doing since President Vladimir Putin ordered a war operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the ministry said, according to the Idnes news portal.

More than 4000 Ukrainian servicemen received combat readiness courses in 2023 and the same number is expected to be registered this year.

The explanation of the Defense Ministry was known after statements made by French President Emmanuel Macron to form a coalition of European countries to send military specialists directly to Ukrainian territory.

Russia warned, at the time, that the appearance of specialists in the armed forces of various Western states directly in Ukraine may have negative consequences, some of them irreparable.

Moscow warns at all times that the supply of weapons to Kiev only prolongs the confrontation, although it assures that Western war equipment will be destroyed, as is the case with any type of weapons used against Russian forces.
