Russia has also developed and proposed to its partners the Sports Charter for the games in Kazan, Chernichenko said.
The proposal regulates the objectives, principles, and directions of sports cooperation in the association, the application of mechanisms, and the conditions for holding the games on the part of the host country.
The Deputy Minister of Sports, Alexei Morozov, declared that four thousand foreign athletes still plan to participate, many of whom come from countries that are not members of the BRICS.
More than five thousand participants are expected because over a thousand athletes from Russia alone will take part, Morozov added.
The Ministry of Sports of Russia, on behalf of the organizing committee, prepared the final sports program, according to the applications received for 27 sports, Morozov stated.
The BRICS Games will be held in Kazan from June 12th to 23rd.
