Furthermore, Many and Zaldivar agreed to establish a dialogue between the respective youth movements to promote mutual understanding and implement several cooperative actions.

The Cuban ambassador paid a courtesy and pleasant visit to Hun Many, in which both parties acknowledged the historical ties of friendship and cooperation between Cuba and the Kingdom of Cambodia during 64 years of diplomatic relations.

They said these ties have been strengthened through several solidarity actions conducted by the organizations representing the youth of both countries.

Zaldivar and Hun Many also agreed to defend and promote peace, the active role of young people in international solidarity events, and their participation in sustainable development as principles shared in all areas by the youth movements of Cuba and Cambodia.
