In an interview with Fox News, the now Republican congressman from Texas said the revelation of the issue by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) only confirms his warnings, while he worked as a doctor in the Oval Office.
According to Jackson, he sent at least five letters to the Government concerned because he believed that Biden – 81 years old – was not capable of being the Commander in Chief of the country and urgently needed a checkup on his cognitive system, but All letters were ignored.
The politician also drew attention to the tone of the criticism from members of the Democratic Party, after learning of the WSJ article about the dignitary’s mental health, and said that this suggests a blow against him.
“The fact that it came to light in this way, and so well founded, makes me think that they are preparing the ground to get rid of it,” said Jackson, who was a doctor to former presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump before coming to Congress.
Recently the WSJ newspaper published material with interviews with 45 individuals and all said that during private meetings with Biden, he seemed slower, at times he looked good and at other times he performed with difficulty.
The revelation coincides with voters’ concern with the advanced age of the president, the oldest to hold power in the United States.
For the White House, the report contains false statements and is a Republican tactic leading up to next November’s elections.
However, Donald Trump is the main Republican threat to the elections and is also accused of being incoherent and having mental disorders at 77 years of age.
