In a video sent to Prensa Latina, the leader said that removing Cuba from the arbitrary SSOT list is a bet for the nations that fight imperialism globally.

Thilakasiri stood out for the Cuban people’s courage in defending their democracy and political stability and underscored their international support.

The party leader recalled that the administration of US President Joe Biden admitted that it could not sustain the accusation against Cuba made by his predecessor, Donald Trump, who hoped to bring the Cuban people to their knees with a series of sanctions.

The plan is in force, stressed Thilakasiri, who also underscored the heroism of the people who protected the State from the obstacles without allowing it to crumble.

He pointed out that President Biden should listen to the international community and remove that categorization that tightens the US economic, commercial, and financial blockade against Cuba.
