Conille, who returned to Haiti from abroad on Saturday, promised to do everything possible to make the transition a victory. He announced he would form a team of women, youth, and diaspora members.
“I will do my best to work closely with the presidential advisors to overcome the challenges our nation has long faced while addressing the most urgent needs,” the Haitian prime minister said.
Conille stressed the importance of not making false commitments and improving living conditions in the country, where hope must emerge because Haiti, in his opinion, would not perish.
In his address to the nation, Garry Conille appealed to the collective resilience of the Haitian people in the face of the current security challenges broken by gang violence.
