ICAIC President Alexis Triana informed on social media about the film’s participation in the Festival.
The documentary tells a moving story that reflects the effect of the United States blockade imposed on Cuba for over six decades.
The 30-minute-long motion picture, produced by Graciela Ramirez and directed by Iriana Pupo and Yaimi Ravelo, tells the life story of a little girl, Natali Rodriguez Mendez, and the hardships generated to her health and family due to Washington’s hostile policy against Cuba.
This life story has already been shown in Brazil, Italy, the United States, Venezuela, and Argentina, among other countries.
Vitry-sur-Seine, a city in the Paris Region, will host the 2nd edition of the Cuban Film Festival, with motion pictures that will give the public a closer look at Cuba’s situation.
This Festival is an initiative by the Cuba Cooperation France Association (CubaCoop) in coordination with the Mayor’s Office of the commune of Marne Valley, known for its solidarity with and support for Cuba.
