The Lebanese Communist Party (PCL), the Palestinian-Cuban Friendship Association in Lebanon, and the League of Palestinian Graduates of Cuban Universities and Institutes reiterated, on Friday, their solidarity with the Cuban people and regretted that the Washington administration continues to make up lies and disinformation.

In a statement, the Foreign Relations Committee of the PCL condemned the draft resolutions and reports submitted to the Congress of the United States to tighten sanctions on Cuba, which violate international law and are a crime against the people.

In its message, the Lebanese organization rejected the accusation against Cuba for supporting terrorism and stressed the unity of struggle and support with all political, media, and human capacities.

The Friendship Association described Cuba’s inclusion in the US list as unilateral and unjustified. It aimed at justifying the imposition of economic measures against that island.

It also exposed the White House’s hypocrisy by talking about fighting terrorism while providing financial, military, and political support to the Israeli occupation in its genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
