This was confirmed by the Minister of Public Health of Cuba, José Ángel Portal Miranda, who detailed in his account in X about the meetings with his peers from various countries such as Russia, Iran, Bahamas, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, among others, to exchange on opportunities for cooperation.

With Russia, he detailed on the social network, we are evaluating the possibilities for strengthening cooperation ties. We discussed with Dr. Oleg Salagay, deputy minister of health of that country, how the execution of agreements signed between both parties is progressing and the prospects for diversifying collaboration,” Portal wrote on the social network.

The day before, the minister also held a meeting with the Alliance for Health Development in Africa and the Caribbean members participating in the global conference and recalled the countless experiences treasured from the work of the medical collaborators in those fraternal lands.
