The hot weather caused by a “heat dome” that has hit Central America these days will be accompanied by the tropical wave that will bring rains and winds to this capital, where last night precipitations were reported, sometimes intense, with accumulated rainfall of more than 40 millimeters and wind gusts close to 40 kilometers per hour.
The phenomenon is expected to cause storms in the western, northern, coastal and eastern regions, with lightning by Thursday afternoon.
After Wednesday night’s rains, the sky in the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador remains with some clouds that should increase in the afternoon, according to the daily forecast from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN).
