In his opening speech at the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, he stressed that the friendship between the Chinese and Arab peoples arose from the friendly exchanges along the ancient Silk Road.

He added that the two regions have fought side by side for national liberation and mutually beneficial cooperation in the process of national construction.

I am pleased to announce that China will hold the 2nd China-Arab Summit in 2026.

I believe this will become another milestone in China-Arab relations, the head of State noted.

China is satisfied with the results of the first summit, and is willing to work with the Arab side to take full advantage of the strategic leading role of such a platform and continue to promote the large-scale development of China-Arab relations, he added.

Xi emphasized that the changes in the world are accelerating, and both China and the Arab countries assume the mission of these times to revitalize their respective nations and speed up the building of a new future for a better world.
