In recent months, the special rapporteur has repeatedly demanded an arms embargo and sanctions against Israel, while calling for the trial of its leaders.
Recently, Albanese assured that the war in the Gaza Strip will only end with external pressure. “Israel must face sanctions, justice, suspension of agreements, trade, associations, and investments, as well as its participation in international forums,” she estimated.
