On social network X, Rodriguez expressed that in seven decades, ACNU has been a permanent battle space, defending the United Nations Charter, multilateralism, and the Homeland.

On May 30, 1947, the ACNU was founded by various personalities from the political and cultural sphere of Cuba and one of its objectives is to consolidate the articulation of Cuban civil society organizations in multilateral spaces and issues, as well as in the shaping of domestic foreign policy.

Likewise, it seeks to contribute to greater dissemination and knowledge in Cuba of the principles, purposes, and activities of the United Nations.

The Association also denounces actions that endanger the peace and security of people. It also defends respect for the sovereignty, independence, and integrity of each State.
