Buenos Aires unionized train workers demand better wages

Buenos Aires, May 30 (Prensa Latina) Trains in Buenos Aires travel at a maximum speed of 30 kilometers per hour on Thursday as part of a protest by the Argentine Railway Drivers' Union, La Fraternidad, to demand better wages.

The strike will last 24 hours and precedes a strike scheduled for June 4.

As a result, delays or cancellations on several freight and passenger lines have been reported.

The La Fraternidad Union informed that the protest was called due to “the absolute lack of responses in the joint negotiations” to demand wage increases.
