Venezuela criticizes US and Europe’s silence over massacre in Gaza

Maduro1-1-2-3-4-5-6
Caracas, May 28 (Prensa Latina) The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, questioned the complicit silence of the United States and Europe regarding the massacre carried out by the Israeli regime in Palestine.

The president compared Hitler’s genocide of the 1940s with the current Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip, where more than 36,000 Palestinians died in eight months, mostly children and women.

It is one of the “most terrible genocides transmitted live and direct that humanity has experienced since Hitler’s time,” emphasized Maduro, who described the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, as the King Herod of this era, who bombs Muslim and Christian children, and overrules the International Criminal Court. “Terrible!” he stressed.

“And what does the United States say? What does Europe say? They remain silent, genocidal silence, a complicit silence from the United States, from Europe, with one of the most terrible genocides experienced by humanity since the time of Adolf Hitler,” the president remarked.

The head of state expressed his hope that justice will prevail in Palestine, and asserted that “people can no longer tolerate the abuse of the Zionist regime.”

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, questioned, on Monday, the position of international organizations such as the United Nations in the face of Israel’s most recent massacre in Rafah, in the Gaza Strip.

The leader set the position of the political banner by asking “When will the UN, the world, those who call themselves civilized” react to the genocide and massacre that Israel Zionism is committing against the Palestinian people? He also pointed out that on Sunday night the Israeli army attacked a refugee camp in Rafah, where more than 100 people were killed, by these fascists, including children burned alive, and dozens wounded, and “the world does not react at all” he stated.

Cabello pointed out that it is a pity and embarrassing attitude of those who direct these organizations; “They are a shame to the world,” he said, and stressed that “they are accomplices in this massacre that imperialism carries out every day against a country.” The United States and the European Union also approve the resources for Israel to continue murdering the Palestinian people, he said. “They are disgusting, embarrassing, really. There is no other qualifier,” he stressed.
