During the meeting held at Farm 1 Victoria de Giron Company, the president stressed the importance of providing opportunities to acquire housing for producers to ensure the completion of the workforce and contribute to improving their life quality.

According to the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the Victoria de Giron Agro-industrial Company has become an example for the country grounded in the seriousness and commitment they put into their productive tasks, while asserting that they have total confidence that the new dynamics will ramp up food production in the territory.

During the meeting, the president further mulled over the land use, the results of the application of science and the diversification of crops in the company, and learned about the new forms of payment implemented.

The Cuban president was accompanied on his visit by the secretary of organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, Roberto Morales, and the first secretary of the province, Mario Sabines.
