Victor Jimenez, member of the Directorate of Municipal Works (DOM), reported in the AM interview that the new facility will expand the original one that was opened on July 13, 1902.

The work, which is in great demand by the poorest sectors of the country who go there in search of specialized attention, should be completed by the end of 2024, according to President Nayib Bukele.

Jimenez stated that while construction is progressing, they are already importing the hospital’s specialized equipment, so as soon as the construction is completed it will be ready to begin operations.

When we talk about the Rosales Hospital we are talking about the foremost hospital in El Salvador. The construction of this new health care center will be a reference in health care in our country, Jimenez pointed out.
