The proportion of days with good air quality increased to 89.8 percent last month, meanwhile, the average density of PM 2.5, a key pollution indicator, remained at 28 micrograms per cubic meter, unchanged from the same period in 2023.
On the other hand, a report from the Ministry added that the average density of PM 10 showed a year-on-year drop of 3.6 percent.
Among the 168 key cities monitored in April, the first place in terms of good air quality went to Zhuhai, in the southern province of Guangdong, followed by Huangshan, in the eastern territory of Anhui, and Haikou, located in Hainan, in the south of the country.
