Tamara Valido Benitez, ANPP´s President of the Commission for Attention to Services, and Sangadzhi A. Tarbaev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development of the Federal Assembly of Russia, met via videoconference on Thursday.

Benitez stressed the significance of these contacts in the complex situation Cuba is going through, affected by the tightening of the hostile and unjust blockade imposed by the United States.

Tarbaev, on the other hand, recalled that bilateral relations have been significantly strengthened when Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, officially paid a visit to Cuba in 2023.
