The spokesman recalled that since they began trilateral cooperation to jointly address the Asian financial crisis five decades ago, the three countries gradually established a cooperation mechanism with the Trilateral Summit at the center, meetings at the ministerial level and senior officials and more than 70 working mechanisms.
Wang emphasized, that China is willing to work to implement the consensus of the China-Japan-ROK Cooperation Vision for the next decade, as well as deepen economic, trade and science, technology and culture cooperation, and promote regional economy integration in East Asia.
According to South Korean sources, the Trilateral Summit will address six areas of cooperation: economy and trade, sustainable development, health issues, science and technology, disaster management, and security and people-to-people exchanges.
