In a ceremony attended by the high command of the military corps, the General in Chief and Minister of Defense Vladimir Padrino ratified the FANB’s commitment to defend the integrity and sovereignty of the homeland in the face of the threat hanging over the country.
Padrino warned that anything can happen in these days to try to boycott the electoral process underway, and try to “eliminate the political intention of reaffirming our democracy through presidential elections.”
“We raise our voice and say go home, we will know how to settle our differences and we will know how to defend the elections on July 28,” he deemed.
The authority assured they will know how to defend the people’s and citizens’ willingness, and “their most pristine wishes for peace, freedom and democracy.”
“Enough with sanctions, gringos go home, go home, we here will know how to bridge our differences because we already have an election date,” he stressed. Padrino assured that Venezuela has a democratic project based on the philosophy of democracy of the people and for the people, which is enshrined in the national constitution. He asked how is the empire now going to come and tell us that this is not our democracy and asserted that Venezuelans know the path to follow to achieve the most precious asset, which is national independence.
The Vice President for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace also referred to the “small, tiny factions” that are going around the world asking for more sanctions against the Venezuelan people, what they are “is a bunch of scoundrels, traitors to the homeland,” he said.
