Under the motto “Cuba unites us,” the European associations will review the limitations that still exist to establish links with Cuba and contribute to its development, particularly the effects of the United States blockade and coercive measures like Cuba’s inclusion on Washington’s State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list, according to diplomatic sources.
Sponsored by the Federation of Associations of Cubans Resident in Spain, the event consists of debates on culture and identity, social communication and support campaigns and donations for the Cuban people.
In addition, regional strategies will be outlined for the preservation of José Martí’s thought and Fidel Castro’s historic legacy, particularly his close ties with the emigration.
