Heat and possible cyclone in the atmosphere in El Salvador

San Salvador, May 16 (Prensa Latina) High temperatures, some above 40 degrees Celsius, and increased possibilities of cyclone formation in the Pacific Ocean occupy meteorologists in El Salvador.

Although the rainy season has started and there is some coolness at night, the country still faces high temperatures.

For example, the day before the maximum temperatures recorded were in Chalatenango where the thermometer marked 40.4 degrees Celsius, and 38.8 in Nueva Concepción, while in other places such as San Miguel, also in the east, were above 37 degrees.

Added to this is a climatic setback in the Pacific Ocean that could become a tropical depression this weekend with a 40% chance of becoming a cyclonic formation in the next six days, according to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN).

The weather monitoring agency said that this Thursday could intensify rainfall on the coast and the east of the country.

The forecast for today is for showers and storms in the vicinity of the Gulf of Fonseca, in the east, while in the afternoon, these will be located in the mountains of the north of the country and the volcanic mountain range.
